Sarah Huber joined the FDDM in spring 2014 after a career in the Swiss public sector characterised by two key threads: territory and sustainable development. At the end of the nineties, she was in charge of conceiving federal agglomeration policy. She then took the opportunity to participate in WTO trade negotiations, defending Switzerland's agricultural sector interests. Finally, she chose to refocus on her local commitments, first as General Secretary, then as Delegate for Sustainable Development and Energy in Nyon, a medium-sized city in the Geneva region. At FDDM, she manages the SMArt program, as well as very diverse projects related to sustainable development at local and regional levels.
