Since October 2017, Anja Marcher (MA) has been a researcher at the Center for Advanced Studies at Eurac Research. Prior to this, she was one of three members of the research group “Economy and Labour” located in the Eurac Research Institute for Regional Development. She received an MA in Human Geography from the University of Vienna, Austria, and started her doctoral study in Geography at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, Germany, in 2016. Her academic background is reflected in her main research interests, which include innovation and networks, economic and social geography, and migration and refugee movements. Before joining Eurac Research in 2015, Anja worked as a scientific assistant at the Austrian Institute of Economic Research and as a student assistant at the Vienna Institute of Demography within the Austrian Academy of Sciences.
